By accessing and using CVBuddy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

CVBuddy is an AI-powered resume building platform designed specifically for the Bangladesh job market. We provide:

  • Professional resume templates
  • AI-powered content generation and enhancement
  • Resume storage and management
  • PDF generation and download capabilities

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of CVBuddy, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your resume
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Payment Terms

CVBuddy offers the following subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: ৳0 - Basic access with 1 AI summary and no PDF downloads
  • Basic Plan: ৳79 (one-time) - 1 PDF download and 3 AI summaries (lifetime access)
  • Premium Monthly: ৳199/month - Unlimited PDF downloads and 20 AI summaries per month
  • Premium Yearly: ৳1999/year - Same as monthly plan with 16% savings

Payments are processed securely through bKash. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees and authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy for technical issues that prevent you from using our service. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment.

Please note that refunds are not available for the Basic plan after you have successfully downloaded your PDF, as this constitutes delivery of the digital product.

To request a refund, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your payment details and reason for the refund request.

6. Intellectual Property and AI Content

Your Content: All resume content you create or upload to CVBuddy remains your exclusive property. You retain full ownership and control over your resume data, personal information, and any content you generate.

AI-Powered Features: Our service uses AI technology to help generate content suggestions and improve your resume. You retain full ownership of all AI-generated content and suggestions created through our service. CVBuddy does not claim any ownership rights to content created using our AI features.

Service License: You grant CVBuddy a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service, including AI content generation and resume creation features.

CVBuddy Property: All CVBuddy branding, templates, software, and service features are the property of CVBuddy and are protected by Bangladesh and international copyright laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Limitation of Liability

CVBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service.
